Brimstone Butterfly ~ Periwinkle Woods

This studio still life features a Brimstone butterfly, its vivid yellow wings rendered in delicate 18-denier silk stitches. Hand-modelled bluebells rise from a slender bottle discovered on a countryside walk, while silk threads used to create the woodland scene Periwinkle Woods in the background complete the composition.
